Principal, Design Leader - Kaiser Permanente

Over the past two decades, Richie has used human-centered design to bring insight and strategic direction to how brands, like Bayer, Starbucks, P&G, and others, innovate with meaning. In his current role as a Design Principal for Kaiser Permanente’s Medical Group, he has taken these skills and experiences to clinical innovation. Partnering with other departments within KP, his mission is to evangelize human-centered design throughout the organization, bringing insight to life.

Senior Consultant of Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity - Kaiser Permanente

Alexander Martos is a Senior Consultant of Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (EID) with Kaiser Permanente Southern California. Through this work he advances the organization’s commitment to identifying and addressing the systems, processes, and practices that reproduce inequities within the physician and employee workforce. He has also overseen regional efforts to mitigate member health disparities, and implemented EID-focused workshops and trainings for organizational executives and frontline healthcare workers alike. Alexander received his Doctorate of Public Health from Columbia University in 2018 and is committed to advancing his understanding of how various public and private sectors intersect to impact population health.
